Covers some courses / modules in M. A. in Economics: (i) History of economic ideas (The Classical School and The Neoclassical School), (ii) Economics of development (Economics of Education and Health, Health Care and Economic Development, Economics of Health and Health Care, Economic Inequality and its measurement), (iii) Advanced Econometrics (Empirical analysis of income inequality, Production Function and Efficiency Measurement focusing health and health care), (iv) Demography and Population Studies, (v) Survey Methods and Application, (vi) Data Analysis and Application.

Covers some courses / modules on “Research methodology” under the Ph. D. Course-work programme.

Guiding Ph. D. Scholars as Supervisor.

Render administrative services as a member of various statutory and Departmental committees. Assumed the responsibility of the Head of the Department for two years in between 01 February 2021 and 31 January 2023 (with that of the Chairman, Post-graduate Board of Studies in Economics). Assuming the responsibility of Chairman, Undergraduate Board of Studies in Economics, University of North Bengal for four years from February 2021.

Appointed as the Finance Officer (Officiating) of the University of North Bengal on 21 March 2023 for a period of two months and subsequently extended for another four months (till 20 September 2023).

Worked as Guest Teacher in the 4th Semester 2017 at the Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University – Department of Zoology covering Biostatistics in M. Sc. in Zoology.

(Title: Economics of Health Care Utilisation: A Study of Perceived Morbidity and Health Seeking Patterns in Cooch Behar and Jalpaiguri districts of North Bengal)

The study is based on primary data collected through interview technique. It has three facets: morbidity analysis (examination of epidemiologic profile of the region); study of preference for a care (applying qualitative anthropological technique); and estimation of contribution of different need, predisposing, and enabling factors towards utilisation of a care (multivariate analyses using binary logistic regression models and multiple classification analysis).
